Clinique sweet pots, Pink framboise

Happy Friday beauties, for a long time I wanted to review this sweet pots by Clinique but never really got a chance to take the pictures of them. So today I finally decided to review them and I took some pictures. However, it was raining so no good lighting.

I exactly don't remember when I bought them, but I bought them few months back from Sephora. When they came out I really wanted to try them because I usually  like Clinique's lip balms.

The color I picked is called Pink framboise and it looks very bright pink when you look at it. But when you apply this it goes very sheer and is super hydrating.

Their are two sides of the pot. This side has a lip balm. And as you guys can see I used a lot.

On the other side of the pot their is a scrub and it does exactly what lip scrub does. However... their is a  pink color on the scrub  so when you apply on your lips you have to be careful because the pink color is pigmented. If it goes anywhere on you chin .... you can see a pink color :)

My overall thoughts about this sweet pots are that I love the lip balm and scrub both but don't like the fact that the scrub has some color, so you have to be careful while using it. I also do not like the packaging. Love the fact that the packaging is very cute looking but not very practical. I don't like dipping my fingers inside the pot and second sometimes you are trying to open lip balm and the scrub side can just pop up. So that's my final thoughts on this. I would stay with my Clinique Superbalm gloss that comes in a tube. So let me know if any of you guys have tried Clinique sweet pots ? Have a beautiful weekend guys :)

  2. OOoh the packaging on this looks so cute! I kinda like that there is a stain left behind with the scrub, besides for the fact that it could get on my chin lol. Thanks for the rec!

  5. I've never tried it although it sounds like a great product in theory! Shame it's not the easiest to use, I think a tube would be better too!

  6. I prefer lip balms on a stick; pots are a bit messy to use. Great review!

  11. I really like the color! Too bad the scrub is tinted though. Don't want to end up looking like the Joker! I generally like Clinique products but I haven't tried this one yet.

  12. Having long nails myself, I can appreciate your dislike of dipping your finger into the pot haha. Having said that, the lip balm sounds lovely - considering it's by Clarins, I can imagine how nice the scent is too :)

  15. I think these are so cute. I love how it's a two in one packaging, but your right that I wouldn't want to use one side after he other. I've heard others say that too! And I'd be afraid the scrub would stain everything!
